Mei Bresnahan, LMSW (She/Her)
Each person has a unique life experience; the challenges they face and strengths they draw from are wholly their own. My aim as a therapist is to help clients see things from a new perspective, and tap into their strengths and resilience to meet their goals. I see each client as a person, rather than a diagnosis, and try to meet them where they are at in life’s journey. Together, we collaborate to form a person-centered treatment plan that reflects the client’s needs and goals.
Some therapeutic approaches I draw from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. In every therapeutic relationship, I strive to foster compassion, understanding, respect and collaboration.
It is always rewarding to see clients gain insight into their concerns, develop solutions and coping skills, and obtain a sense of well-being. I am honored to accompany them on their journey towards healing.
