Brooke Kraeszig, LLMSW (She/Them)
Therapy is meant for clients to develop the tools they need to reach their own goals, whether those are relational, emotional, or behavioral goals. I work to create a compassionate and encouraging environment so my clients can grow. I enjoy working with children and adolescents. I provide them with psycho education, processing, and teaching coping skills to help each client feel more confident and better able to self-regulate themselves.
I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2021. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from University of Michigan in 2023. Through my education, I have gained experience working with clients of diverse age ranges and populations.
I believe that the best outcomes from therapy are when the client and therapist have a strong rapport and are able to create treatment goals together. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy and other modalities to create a personalized treatment plan for each client.
